At the same time, the production itself is located in Karelia (Russia) – the birthplace of shungite. This is the northwestern region of Russia and the living conditions there are quite harsh, so the process of making products from natural stone is more labor-intensive and expensive. This distinguishes them from Chinese fake beads made of plastic or fiberglass, which are often passed off as shungite.

Also note that these are natural shungite bracelets made of shungite stone beads, so they may have an uneven shape. This is due to the hand-cutting of the stone. Also on the surface of the beads there are traces of the mineral pyrite and quartz, as these are natural companions of this rare mineral from Russia. For example, pyrite is yellow and gold inclusions in the form of veins, dots and pits, while quartz will usually have darker veins (this is due to the optical properties of the minerals).
