Size of shungite bead
This section presents shungite beads 12 mm of size. Each bead is hand-carved from a single piece of shungite stone. The size of each bead is about 12 mm / 0.47 inches, but the sizes may vary slightly. The hole size is about 1-1.5 millimeter. Shungite beads 12mm small size have a polished surface, but over time this surface will become matte due to friction against skin or clothing. This is a natural process.
How it’s made
Each bead is carved from a single piece of genuine shungite stone. Each shungite bead conducts electricity because it is made of real shungite. Each shungite bead is cut by hand. This is not a factory pressed mold. In this regard, the size of each bead is unique. Please note that some beads do not have an absolutely round perfect shape, due to the fact that they are made by hand from shungite stone and have a natural shape. Also, beads may differ slightly in size from each other (be slightly smaller or larger), this is also due to the manual nature of production. The bead have a polished surface and reflect light, but over time the polished layer wears off on the surface of the skin or clothing and the beads become matte. It makes them more natural and looks more natural.

Please note that some shungite beads 12mm may contain a small amount of shungite powder in their holes. This dust can leave traces on clothing or skin. We carefully wash each bead after production but still it may still be with dust. You can rinse the bead again in running water before you collect your bracelet or necklace from these natural stone shungite beads.
