As you know, shungite deposits exist only in one place on Earth. This place is Republic of Karelia, Russia. There are no shungite deposits anywhere in the world on such a scale and with such a composition.
For a long time, local residents and later geologists found four deposits of shungite in Karelia. But at present, the state in Russia allows the development of only one field.
Therefore, we are mining shungite stone for the production of shungite products in only one field – this is the Zazhoginskoye or Zazhogino deposit. We make our shungite plates from shungite from the Zazhogino deposit. This shungite stone is the best and the only one from which all possible shungite products are made.
In the Zazhoginsky deposit, shungite has an average amount of carbon in the region of 30%.
The remaining 56% is quartz and other elements. Shungite is an absolutely safe stone, it does not cause allergies, and it is not radioactive. Moreover, shung carbon has many useful properties, thanks to which it is used for water purification. In addition, shungite is a strong antioxidant.
Shungite EMF protection
It was the shungite of the Zazhoginsky deposit with a carbon content of about 30% that was studied by scientists and geologists. The studies were carried out at the universities of Russia, as well as in Karelia at the Institute of Geology of the Karelian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, in the USA, Japan and other countries.
To study the ability of shungite to protect against EMF radiation, scientists used a small and thin layer of shungite. At the same time, the shungite layer had a thickness in the region from 10 microns to 100 microns. And the scientists found out that shungite is able to effectively neutralize the emission spectrum of high-frequency EMF waves even with such an extremely small thickness.
